“A starving street orphan discovers forbidden soul-devouring necromancy in a floating sky-world, battling inquisitors while slowly mutating into an eldritch entity.”

In a bizarre sky-world of floating islands above an endless sea of mist, society lives under strict theological dogmas enforced by holy inquisitions. Vita is a starving orphan girl in the undercity who awakens an innate, grotesque magical affinity for necromancy and soul manipulation. But the magic in this world comes with a terrifying cost: the more souls she consumes and constructs she animates, the further her own mind and biology warp into an eldritch abomination. An acclaimed masterpiece of cosmic dread, body horror, moral decay, and deep worldbuilding. Complete 196 chapters, over 750,000 words.
